Top Things To See And Do In Orlando

Here are a few of the most visited attractions and activities in Orlando that might be of interest to you.

Walt Disney World

Everybody's heard about Walt Disney, the famous cartoon creator. In Orlando there's a huge collection of theme parks dedicated to his work. The parks are spread over an area of more than 30,000 acres. It's heaven for any child but the adults can have lots of fun as well. The cluster of parks houses live animal exhibitions, water parks with a large number of water rides, golf courses, speedways, a sports complex, restaurants, shopping areas and lots of rollercoasters. It's basically like a small city fully-dedicated to having fun. Walt Disney World is open year-round but be prepared to spend a lot of dollars in there.

Orlando Premium Outlets

The number one rated shopping attraction in Orlando is the Premium Outlets. These malls are absolutely huge and there are more than 170 shops and stores to choose from. In fact, most of world's most popular brands have stores in this mall. At peak times there can be a bit of a problem with parking spaces because the mall is almost always busy but you'll manage to find a spot. We recommend you visit this place if you like to get a bargain as there's lots on offer at great prices - a bit like our car rental service.

Discovery Cove

At Discovery Cove you have the opportunity to interact with a large number of marine animals. The main attraction here is represented by the dolphins. There's an event called "talk, touch, play & swim" where guests can feed and swim beside a dolphin. More than 270 species of exotic and tropical birds can also be admired. A reef containing tropical fish, sharks and stingrays can be admired from behind safety glass. During the summer, Discovery Cove is open between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center has been used to launch space shuttles since 1968. Now there are a few full-scale shuttles which visitors can get up close and personal with. By taking the tour of the center you'll also have the chance to see astronomy equipment, lunar vehicles and many other space-related things. The space center is opened to the public from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and Sundays between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
